ZUMPANGO FILMS was established in 2006 by writer/director Jesus "Chin" Beltran. A first generation American born to Mexican parents who came to the US in 1972, Chin was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX. He graduated from Stanford University in 2000 and now calls California home. Chin has has a background as a design consultant for Silicon Valley tech comanies incluiding Apple Computer, Dell, HP and many others. He has travelled to over fifteen countries and has spent extensive time in China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia. His true passion lies in narrative filmmaking and that informs all of his work. ZUMPANGO FILMS' mission is simple: MAKE MOVIES. |
