THE CHINA PROJECT was shot on location guerrilla style in Southern China. The film was based on writer / director Jesus "Chin" Beltran's own experiences working as a manufactuing engineer in China. Chin utilized only two real actors and relied on local factory workers and prostitutes as supporting actors and extras. The film premiered at the 2008 NASHVILLE FILM FESTIVAL.
